WWF-Kenya is a Kenyan non-governmental conservation organization, and an affiliate of WWF International. With 60 years of experience in Kenya, the organization has worked with local communities, the government, private sector organizations and civil society to conserve the environment – and has grown nearly 3,000,000 trees over the last three years.

With the TerraFund grant, WWF-Kenya will train farmers to build “farm forests” across Nyandarua, growing high-value trees that put money right in the pocket of local community members. The organization will also bring its significant technical and monitoring support to the project, ensuring that impact is carefully measured.
