Unis pour l'Education Socioenvironnementale de la Femme (UESEF)

UESEF is a Congolese nonprofit whose vision is to provide environmental education, economic opportunities, and improved livelihoods to women and young people. They restore forest and aquatic ecosystems by promoting climate-smart agriculture and bolstering women’s involvement in natural resource management and access to social and health services.

UESEF will use its TerraFund grant to restore trees to the landscape, provide technical training to agricultural cooperatives, and support environmental education programs in South Kivu Province.
