Established in 2001, Tropenbos Ghana brings knowledge from its international network of experts and community leaders to transform landscapes. In Ghana, it restores the Juabeso-Bia and Sefwi-Wiawso landscapes, where cocoa farms have expanded into natural forests, threatening biodiversity and the long-term health and prosperity of farming communities.
A grant from TerraFund will help Tropenbos Ghana empower communities to grow trees in degraded forests across the Asante Akim South Municipal of the Ashanti Region.
