Seed Savers Network Association (SSN-K)

Seed Savers Network is a national grassroots organization of over 3,200 registered farmer groups in Kenya. Their mission is to conserve agro-biodiversity by strengthening communities' seed systems for improved seed access. Their online seed exchange platform and shop, publications, and booklets provide much needed resources for the country’s farmers.

Seed Savers Network will use this grant to grow trees in farms and around Lake Elmenteita in the Greater Rift Valley. The group will also train its network of farmers on collecting, germinating, and selling seedlings.
