Rwanda Environmental Conservation Organization (RECOR)

For over 20 years, RECOR has partnered with local leaders and community members to find sustainable environmental solutions that benefit people across Rwanda.

RECOR will use its second TerraFund grant to restore the degraded shores and upper lands of Lake Kivu, protecting water supply and biodiversity. They will also promote agroforestry among farmers by providing them with grafted fruit trees and organic compost, which will improve soil quality and increase crop yields.
