RESCONI aims to protect the livelihoods of forest fringe communities in Ghana, training them on sustainable natural resource management and securing a voice for them in decision-making processes. It also advocates for community education and promotes research on natural resource extraction and conservation.
RESCONI will use this grant to renew the degraded lands of the Asutifi North District and the Atwima Mponua District. Community members will grow trees along habitat corridors, attracting birds, insects, and other wildlife to restore ecological balance.
