Réseau Burundi 2000 Plus aims to improve the livelihoods of farming families through technical and financial support. Working under multiple themes, such as community health, job creation, and long-term environmental protection, the group supports communities in the Gihanga commune of Bubanza Province.
Using this grant from TerraFund, Réseau Burundi 2000 Plus will use agroforestry, reforestation to restore smallholder farmers’ land and riparian areas in Bubanza Province. By growing more crops and securing a reliable food supply, the organization will fight malnutrition among schoolchildren.
