Prime Biodiversity Conservation (PBC)

Founded by a group of passionate conservationists in 2018, PBC is dedicated to protecting the rich biodiversity of Rwanda and beyond. Over the last five years, PBC has educated young people on how to embrace environmental conservation practices like growing trees and caring for saplings in nurseries.

PBC will use this grant to grow native trees with children in schools and at home with their families. It will also hold capacity building sessions to empower schools and communities to create, manage and own tree nurseries. This work will take place in the Rubavu and Rutsiro districts.
