Since its creation in 1996, Plateforme Diobass au Kivu has sought to facilitate knowledge sharing between Congolese and international groups. The organization is one branch within the Diobass network across Africa, with an approach that emphasizes community-based solutions to social and economic problems, cultural values, and local resources.
Plateforme Diobass au Kivu will use this grant to revitalize the slopes of Kamanyola groupement and develop sustainable agricultural value chains to secure farming households’ incomes. It will also develop agricultural and apicultural value chains to benefit target households in the Walungu territory.
