Plant with Purpose

Plant With Purpose has partnered with more than 10,500 families to embrace sustainable land practices like growing trees in previously degraded watersheds. Through its Purpose Groups program, the organization brings community members together to save income, decide on appropriate loans, and rehabilitate the land.

In the last three years, Plant with Purpose’s local affiliate in DRC, Eben Ezer Ministries, has mobilized farmers to plant over 4.3 million trees. It will use its second TerraFund grant to plant and nurture trees in the territories of Uvira and Fizi in South Kivu Province.
