Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA)

PACJA is a consortium of more than 1,000 organizations from 48 African countries. The alliance brings its members together over a shared vision: a people-centered, rights-based approach to address the environmental challenges facing humanity.

With this grant, PACJA will work with local communities to rehabilitate the degraded lands of Kenya’s West Pokot County. The group will train community members to establish and maintain tree nurseries, ensuring a steady supply of seedlings for reforestation.
