Moto Feeds collaborates with local Maasai pastoralist communities in Kenya to rejuvenate degraded grasslands through affordable fodder solutions. In partnership with the Maasai, the company grows a highly nutritious and rapidly regenerating grass for animal feed and provides an all-season soil cover known as Boma Rhodes grass. This contributes to the community's financial well-being, as its members can also sell surplus grass bales for income.
This investment will enable Moto Feeds to establish its first tree nurseries in Nakuru and Narok Counties, expanding its business model and accelerating production to make more saplings available for purchase.
