Laikipia Wildlife Forum (LWF)

LWF supports conservation efforts and natural resource management initiatives in the Laikipia region of Kenya’s Greater Rift Valley. Its mission is to nurture and support stakeholder institutions that champion wildlife conservation and sustainable natural resource management.

With this grant, LWF will restore wildlife habitats in the Upper Ewaso Ng'iro Basin through reforestation, agroforestry, silvopasture and assisted natural regeneration. The new forest corridors will provide a safe home for elephants, monkeys, and leopards.
