Herp-Ghana advocates for reptile and amphibian conservation within Ghanaian communities. Its mission is to establish new protected areas and restore priority habitats that benefit people and safeguard these species.
This second grant from TerraFund will equip Herp-Ghana to restore degraded forests within the Wenchi Municipality. The project will offer employment opportunities for over 100 women and youth and improve the livelihoods of the town’s farmers.
