Goshen Global Vision, a non-profit organization in Ghana's Western Region, aims to build resilience through community-based natural resource management and tree growing. The group works directly in the field with farmers, especially women and youth, to restore degraded land and forest reserves damaged by agricultural expansion. Goshen Global Vision has played a key role in establishing 38 village savings and loan associations, which serve as a platform to mobilize farmers for conservation and landscape restoration.
With this second grant from TerraFund, Goshen Global Vision will reforest degraded parts of the Subri Forest Reserve and grow biodiverse native trees among the cocoa farms of Ghana's Western Region.
