Europe Autoland Limited is dedicated to restoring degraded land through sustainable agro-forestry, with nearly three decades of experience in the field. The organization focuses on cultivating teak, mango, cocoa, and staple crops in integrated systems that conserve soil, capture carbon, and support rural livelihoods. Their mission emphasizes climate-smart farming, large-scale tree planting, and community engagement, particularly empowering youth and women. Over the years, they have built a strong track record in landscape restoration, job creation, and climate resilience by working closely with local communities and investing in sustainable practices.

The proposed project seeks to restore degraded land and expand forest cover in the Europa Forest Reserve in Derma, Tano-South District of the Ahafo Region through a large-scale afforestation initiative. The plan involves planting 85,000 trees across 100 hectares, using a mix of teak, mahogany, and indigenous species. Local communities, especially women, youth, and smallholder farmers, will be actively involved in all stages, from land preparation and nursery management to planting and long-term care, ensuring sustainable benefits and alternative livelihoods. The project includes comprehensive maintenance for at least three years, with regular watering, mulching, firebreaks, and pest management, supported by a dedicated monitoring team using both physical inspections and digital mapping. The initiative aims to restore ecosystem health, sequester significant amounts of carbon, create local jobs, and strengthen community resilience and biodiversity.
