Environment and Agroforestry Foundation (EAF)

EAF is a non-profit organization devoted to natural resource management and biodiversity conservation in Ghana. The group boasts a wide range of activities, including land reclamation, farm technology improvement, and community education.

Through this grant from TerraFund, EAF will restore the degraded farmlands and riparian forests along the Tain River in Ghana’s Bono Region. The project aims to improve local livelihoods, safeguard biodiversity, and promote agroforestry systems among local farmers. They encourage communities to plant cashew, African mahogany, and black afara trees for extra food and timber.
