EWRUA is a community-led non-profit organization in Kenya’s Baringo County. Dedicated to protecting local water resources, the group grows trees to enhance catchment restoration, builds gabions, and installs water harvesting tanks to ensure a steady water supply for all. EWRUA works diligently to provide opportunities for community members to engage firsthand in environmental conservation.

This funding will allow EWRUA to restore the Kirandich Dam catchment area and the five streams that feed into it. The trees that they plant will filter pollutants from the dam and prevent runoff, providing cleaner water for nearby residents.
