Eden Reforestation Projects

Eden Reforestation Projects is a global organization that strives to cultivate healthy relationships between people and the forests they depend on. Since 2004, Eden has scaled its restoration programming to bring an estimated 76,000 hectares of degraded forest land under active restoration around the globe. It began working in Kenya in 2019 and now operates throughout the country in both its mangrove and afromontane forest landscapes.

This funding will allow Eden to expand work on its oldest restoration site in the Mau Forest, Ol Mariko. With local communities at the lead, the project will enhance forest connectivity to attract diverse wildlife and create a more vibrant ecosystem.
