J&R Engineering is a company that offers a range of tailored environmental services to address the pressing challenges of land degradation, soil erosion, and habitat destruction. It is partnering with GreenGoal Rwanda, a local social enterprise that offers accessible and affordable native tree seedlings to farmers.

This investment will support the companies’ efforts to increase seedling production and nursery management, increase tree survival rates when they are planted across farms, and boost sources of sustainable income for youth and women. The consortium’s goal will restore ecosystem services and biodiversity in Rwanda’s Rusizi and Nyamasheke districts while improving livelihoods.
