BirdLife International - Kenya / Nature Rwanda

Nature Rwanda’s vision is to build communities where human beings can coexist with nature without compromising the well-being of future generations. Through conservation projects, the organization looks to build climate resilience, reduce air pollution, and secure clean water for local residents.

With its second grant from TerraFund, Nature Rwanda is partnering with BirdLife International, a global partnership that strives to protect birds and their habitats worldwide. The two groups will work to revitalize Rwanda’s Butare and Bweyeye areas, where unsustainable agriculture and artisanal mining have eroded the soil.
