BIOCOOR is a youth-led non-profit organization in Rwanda. Focusing on the districts surrounding Nyungwe National Park, the group is dedicated to conserving biodiversity, promoting ecotourism, improving community health, and mitigating climate change.

BIOCOOR will use this grant to revitalize Rwanda’s Nyamasheke district with native tree species. In a region afflicted by declining crop yields, this project will create job opportunities in tree growing, agroforestry, and ecotourism.
