A Rocha Ghana has dedicated itself to preserving the Earth’s sustainable resources since 1999. With four project offices spread out across the country, the organization’s objective is to inspire and empower people to care for nature, while promoting and supporting sustainable natural resource management.
The organization is committed to developing its own institutional capacity as well the capacity of its collaborating partners and to provide services and networking opportunities for conservation of important ecological habitats.
A Rocha Ghana will use this grant to restore the rapidly dwindling Atewa Forest, training women and youth to cultivate saplings and working with cocoa farmers to grow trees across their crops.
